Manufacturer Provided Description

The Catalina 355 features a hull design with a long waterline, moderate beam and freeboard, and a handsome low-profile cabin structure. Everywhere you look on the 355, you'll find features that make sailing for the day or for extended periods a pure pleasure. Precise mainsail control is a snap with a 5' long traveler. Long, inboard genoa tracks accommodate head sails from a powerful 155 percent genoa to a storm jib, allowing a balanced sail plan for all wind conditions. The inboard shrouds and hardware facilitates tighter sheeting angles for upwind performance, and wide, unobstructed weather decks for safety. Some features inspired by her predecessor are an articulating forward berth with innerspring mattress, a dedicated filter locker, large cockpit locker with gull wing hatch and available quad-leaf folding table.

Beautiful 2 cabin 1 head interior. The owners have replaced the Ultra leather bottom cushions in the main salon with linen for more secure seating.  No more sliding off the cushions!  Audacious also has the optional diagonal leafed, high gloss salon table which converts, both to a smaller cocktail table or down for an additional double berth.  The port side of the salon features seating for two at a small table which also drops down to convert to a comfortable settee.

Both the owner's cabin and aft cabin have innerspring mattresses, so no more of that "camping out" feeling.  Both sleeping cabins have gobs of storage in drawers, hanging locker and bins

The galley on the 355 speaks for itself in the photos.  A large double stainless steel sink is deep and highly polished.  The lpg stove with oven is gimballed for voyaging and the big reefer with freezer should satisfy the most finicky sea going chef.  The aft water tank provides filtered drinking water drawn from a hand pump.

  • Stainless steel microwave oven
  • Two-burner stainless steel propane stove with oven
  • Two propane tanks
  • Water filter
  • Refrigerator/freezer with stainless front loading door and top loading access
  • Granitecoat counter tops
  • Double stainless steel sink with single lever faucet
