Abovedecks the first thing you’ll notice is the recent cleaning and buffing of the hull.  Once aboard you will see she has a full enclosure with newer Isinglass and both screen and canvas covers to protect the Isinglass.  Enjoy the comfort that the full cozy enclosure affords on rainy or cool days.  Your little ‘greenhouse’ will be warm and bright. She has sun shades/screens for warmer days and privacy.

The binnacle contains your Garmin chartplotter and other electronics under a protective lexan cover.  Your cockpit radio is at hand as well.  Also provided is a teak cockpit table ready for action!  All of this is covered in a green heavy sunbrella cover tied at the bottom.

Head through the salon doors (how easy!) through the companionway down a comfortable set of stairs into a large salon, plenty of headroom if for a 6’2″ person. Bright galley to port complete with stainless steel sink, large freezer and front opening refrigerator. All well ventilated and well lit. 

To starboard aft you’ll see the very large queen/king berth.  Easy access and large enough to sit up and read a book with coffee.  Ventilation is provided by opposing opening ports. Exiting the aft stateroom you’ll pass the large head with a full and separate shower. 

Moving forward in front of the galley to port is your navigation station.  All the controls here are at your fingertips with the exception of the climate control which are in easy reach across the salon. Adjust the frosty AC when dockside or open the ports on the hook, this salon is a delight and uncluttered as the table can be lifted to the ceiling creating a very accommodating roomy salon.

Forward of the salon is another stateroom in the forward berth.  Easy access and quite large, it is ready for guests, owners or storage.  When you turn around you’ll see how ship shape everything is and how bright the newly varnished teak & holly sole  (45 coats) is.

S/V Bretagne is a well cared for roomy shoal draft cruiser.  Perfect for the ICW or up and down the east coast and over to the Bahamas.  With a roller mainsail and all lines running to the cockpit, she's comfortable to sail.  With less than 300 hours on the newer Yanmar (replaced older Universal) you'll have a dependable auxiliary motor when not sailing.

This boat has two biminis and 2 dodgers. One for a backup.  The canvas is in great condition and so is the isinglass as the photos attest. 

She shows well with 4 new coats of varnish on her cabin sole and the owner is updating some deferred minor maintenance that was pointed out to him on the recent survey.  They are attending to these items now.

A 16,000 btu Cruisair reverse-cycle air conditioning system was provided with inboard seawater strainer, 120-volt seawater pump and digital SMX-II thermostat.

There is a good line of vision from the helm position and plenty of room in the cockpit for both working crew and passengers. Headroom, in particular, is in abundance, because the boom is quite high.

The helm feels well-balanced and quite responsive. Once we decided to head back to the dock, our helms person did a tight U-turn, and the boat spun around quickly and easily. Under power, the boat is also simple to handle. Our test boat was located in a tight slip, but maneuvering in and out was not a problem with the Yanmar three cylinder, 27-horsepower engine...."
