Platina II is a 2010 Hylas 48 cutter-rigged monohull designed by Bill Dixon and built by Ta Yang in Taiwan. She was built by Saturn Yachts Limited and subsequently adopted by Hylas Yachts. She was purchased by the current owners in 2013 and sailed throughout the US East Coast, Bahamas, Caribbean, Panama, South Pacific. In January of 2019 she was shipped onboard Yacht Transport from Australia back to Ft. Lauderdale. She is a surprisingly swift and nimble sailboat for her displacement, and comfortable in wobbly seas.
