Description

NOT FOR SALE TO US RESIDENTS WHILE IN US WATERS (U.S. Customs Duty not yet paid).

This is a better than new yacht. Dealers usually will not tell you that new yachts are not delivered in perfect condition. They all have "bugs" to work out and the bugs are gone. This yacht was just commissioned in France and delivered to Ft Lauderdale but one of the partners has health issues and the yacht must be sold.

With a sleek style and a strong personality, this new member of the Lagoon family is the sublime successor to the best selling 421.  Catamaran mainsails have been growing to gigantic proportions over the past ten years and this can cause a problem for cruising couples who encounter unexpected squalls and must reef quickly. By moving the mast aft it creates a much better balance under sail and lessens the problems a large main can cause so this is a great improvement.

The 42 exhibits her style and a strong personality. Her performance is a function of the strength of design as well as meticulous construction.

The lines of this good-looking boat were drawn by VPLP and Patrick le Quément, while incorporating all the distinctive Lagoon features: vertical windows, single-level cockpit and saloon, integral deck hatches and ergonomic helm station.

This cat has some nice features:

Cockpit cushions throughout Cockpit floor and transoms in teak Teak cockpit table. Cockpit fridge in addition to cabin fridge and freezer. Fully enclosed helm and rear deck bimini.
