This beauty was a fresh water yacht between 2014-2023 and was sailed 3 months out of the year. During the off-season, it was kept in a heated storage.  Her current owner brought her out of her shell and into the waters of the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico for the past 2 years.

DESCRIPTION

For decades the Island Packet name has been synonymous with craftsmanship and quality. IPs are spacious, stout, comfortable, safe, forgiving, sea kindly blue-water cruising sailboats. A November, 2014 magazine article by Mike Smith in Cruising World called the Island Packet 40 Roomy, Comfortable, Robust and Bulletproof. Mike should know: In 1997 he and his wife and three children completed a 29,765nm circumnavigation in their IP40.

TRUE NORTH, a 1995 IP40, is simply the best-equipped, best maintained, prettiest IP40 on the market today. Meticulously maintained by a knowledgeable and experienced owner. Thoughtfully upgraded. This fully-equipped Island Packet is turn-key and ready to cruise!
