Serendipity is a very well cared for very young looking and very clean Catalina 350… She has new canvas (Dodger & Bimini (2022), a new bottom job, including a new cutlass bearing (2022) and numerous spares.
Catalina Yachts are easy to sail, safe, comfortable, and light on required maintenance. For instance, there is virtually no exterior teak to varnish and the decks have a molded non-skid surface. The only teak is in the cabin, with both teak veneer and solid teak throughout. The decks are wide, which enables easy and quick movement forward and aft. Also, and there are numerous stainless-steel grab rails along the cabintop.
Another notable feature of Catalina models is their enormous cockpit; the 8ft. 6 in. long cockpit has a deep well for safety, with a fold-down table. The binnacle, has the navigation electronics right at the helm and also has all the engine gauges and a single-lever throttle/gear shift at hip-height… The 13-foot beam and 6 ft. 9 in. of headroom provide a feeling of spaciousness in the cabin, with lots of amenities and stowage options packed into cabin area.
