Well-equipped Hunter 44DS, over $30k in last 7 months, all new canvass (Nov 2022), entire hull painted light grey (Oct 2022). Layout is the popular three-cabin version, the V-berth with its own head, and shower. 

Main U-shaped saloon with upholstered cushions (2022) to the portside and a second seating area to the starboard. Saloon table lowers to make an extremely large day bed or extra berth. Salon fitted with 32” TV, running off a separate entertainment inverter. Good under seating storage, containing 12VDC water maker, water heater, and one of two air conditioning units. Navigation station on the starboard, again with good under-seat storage. 

The galley is on the port side with a Force 10 2-burner stove, grill, cooker, microwave, separate freezer, and Isotherm Fridge (2022), additionally there is a Dometic Coolfreeze CFX3 (2022).

Aft there are two spacious cabins and a second head and shower (direct access from one of the cabins). Mattresses in all three cabins were replaced in November 2021.

Outside the standing rigging was replaced in January 2022 and checked and tuned after 400nm in April 2022. The running rigging was checked and replaced as necessary in April 2022. A new complete steering pedestal was installed, the throttle lever rebuilt, and throttle cables replaced during regular maintenance in April 2022. 

A new portable generator was added in December 2021.

Barquito II has been fitted out for extended cruising, with 600W of solar, 600 AH battery bank, new dinghy (2022), larger 15hp outboard updated electronics, and enough tools and spares to keep the boat running.

The Hunter 44 Deck Salon is an innovative cruiser with a performance orientated hull drawn by noted designer and racer, Glenn Henderson, Hunter's Chief Designer.
