The interior layout and ambiance of the 49’ Jeanneau Sun Odyssey Deck Salon provides the feel and accommodations of a much larger boat. Immediately as you step below you will notice the sheer volume of space and light. The large fixed portlights provide ample light and the highly crafted joinery work, satin varnished to perfection, offers a warm and inviting interior. Full teak and holly sole. Duette window blinds shade the distinctive cat-eye deckhouse windows.
The innovative layout provides the flexibility to convert this from a three stateroom boat to a two stateroom by simply removing panels between the two aft staterooms. This process takes less than five minutes to accomplish and the panels are easily stored beneath the mattresses.
The main salon is open and airy. To starboard is a large, comfortable U-shaped dinette with an expanding table. Across the salon is a comfortable settee to port. Next aft is the navigation station with ample chart table. Further aft is a guest head and entry door to the port guest cabin.
An L-shaped galley is aft to starboard and has generous counter space that any cook will enjoy. The galley has a huge fridge and freezer, big sinks and a lot of storage and easily serves the dinette on starboard side. Double sinks with covers and reversible cutting boards, chrome plumbing fittings, with drawer storage. Gimballed 3-burner stove with oven with stainless protection bar. Double fridge box, top loading with 2 opening lids and gas lifts, interior storage bins (12v refrigeration in large box). Aft of the galley is a door leading to the starboard guest cabin.
The master stateroom is located forward and features a centerline double berth, a vanity and chair, ample lockers and storage, plus an ensuite head with a separate shower.
On deck, Twin Helms with stainless wheels with duplicate compasses and instruments readouts. Engine controls are on the starboard side.
