Welcome to Tranquility. She and her owner have just completed the Great Loop, departing Oriental, NC in March 2022 and returning March 1, 2023. Along the journey, the owner reconnected with family members and long time friends, each riding along for a week or so at a time. The owner single handed for the final journey from Florida to North Carolina.

Proudly made in America by Marlow-Hunter and well-maintained by the owners, this Gemini Legacy 35 catamaran has all of the best qualities of a Gemini including her 6-foot 3-inch headroom, narrow 14-foot beam, performance sailing ability, and shallow draft with simplified systems to appeal to a cruising family. The narrow beam makes marina-hopping easy as she will fit in a monohull slip. A 34-inch draft allows the boat to be pulled up next to a beach or anchored in small, protected coves.

Accommodations
The salon is bright, comfortably seats six people, and easily converts into a bed for overnight guests. Use the cocktail table either low as a coffee table or high for two people dining. The full dining table sits on top of the cocktail table for serving family or friends. 
The Gemini Legacy has three cabins. The master cabin is one of the best you will find on a sailboat. Panoramic windows provide spectacular views from the full queen-size bed. Finely crafted cabinetry with a dressing table, sitting area, plenty of storage, and three opening hatches for ventilation make this cabin feel like home. The head is enclosed with a shower. A fresh water electric head was added in 2019. The aft cabin has a double bed, six feet of headroom, beautiful cabinetry for storage, and hatches for ventilation. Canvas protects the windows outside and can be removed to allow bright natural light in the interior. Pleated blinds provide privacy throughout the interior.

Deck and Hulls
The fore and side decks of the Gemini Legacy 35 are uncluttered making it easy to move forward and aft, to enjoy the bow seats, or to sunbathe. The three levels of the deck, starting with the foredeck, moving aft to the cabin top and then the pilot house provide a low profile for the vessel. Hull material is fiberglass reinforced plastic.

Sails and Rigging
The rig is built with the latest advanced technology. The spreaders are swept back eliminating the need for a backstay. No backstay makes room for a square top mainsail that puts more sail area at the top of the mast where the cleanest wind blows, maximizing performance in every weather condition.
