Take 5 was built to cruise the world in luxury, with safety and redundancy playing a key role. She was built in 2009 with the best of everything. There are many unique features on Take 5, one being the custom layout which allows for an extremely luxurious and spacious lower VIP cabin, which was achieved by reversing the spiral staircases going from the lower cabins upward to the pilothouse.

Another result of this custom layout is the vast pantry spaces it provided on the main level near the galley. There truly is an amazing amount of storage on this vessel. The moment you walk in the aft salon door you really get a feel of the open and airy spaces aboard Take 5. Her machinery spaces were spec’d to be reliable and redundant, especially with the option of twin engines and triple generators.

The navigation equipment also has many redundancies and is what you would expect to see on any expedition yacht. Many of the navigation systems have been upgraded over the years since Take 5 was first launched. Take 5 has spent her days cruising both coasts with a majority of her time spent here on the East Coast. She is a truly amazing vessel that is ready for her next adventure.
