2012 Catalina 385

Customer: Kari McCormick

One of the most difficult decisions I had to make after my husband’s passing was the realization that I could not hold onto my beloved Fair Trade.

Ed Massey was referred by a friend and I will be forever grateful that I was able to secure him to handle the sale of my boat. There were so very many extenuating issues and circumstances surrounding the preparations to put her on the market as we had left her in St. Pete, fully loaded, and stripped for hurricane season after 4 months cruising the Keys and Bahamas, last August, fully intending to be back soon from our home state of Texas.

Ed went out of his way to personally handle every detail to make the process as painless as possible for me. My boat actually wasn’t even formally listed before Ed had secured a buyer. But he still had to switch Marinas, pack up all of our gear, oversee repairs and get her ‘show boat’ ready. He put so much effort into this transaction from the very first conversation I had with him, and even past closing. Ed truly handled every little detail with such compassion and excellence. Truly, I run out of words to express my deep gratitude and appreciation for being so well served during this challenging time.

Thank you Ed, from the bottom of my heart, and thank you all who were involved in the process of selling Fair Trade.

Very Sincerely,
Kari McCormick
