Description
Amel 54 #101, US-flagged and lying in Brunswick, Georgia. The 54 was the last Amel model to be designed by Henri Amel, and represents 40 years of Amel’s singular focus on designing and building the very best ocean cruising yachts possible.
#101 has spent the majority of her life cruising between the Caribbean, the Bahamas and the southeast United States. She has be US-flagged/US-owned since new. The current owner has serviced her regularly at Amel’s Martinique facility. Her upgrades include a 2021 ReLion lithium (LiFePO4) battery bank.
The vessel is ready to cast off for a winter cruise in the Bahamas or Caribbean. Her standing rigging and sails are original, so buyers will want to address those items prior to making a longer passage.

Accommodations
The Amel 54 interior layout was a departure from previous models and offers sleeping accommodations that are both more plentiful and more comfortable.
Starting forward, the head occupies the bow section with a shower, toilet, sink and separate washer/dryer units, with a large opening overhead hatch for light and ventilation.
Moving aft to port is a private cabin with a full size Pullman-style berth with a hanging locker and storage in outboard compartments and under the cabin sole.
Opposite, in the passageway are twin over/under bunks with a curtain for privacy. The top bunk can hinge up and out of the way to make the lower berth more spacious. Both are ideal sea berths.
The salon, galley and nav station are the traditional Amel layout, with two deep barrel chairs to starboard and excellent storage under the dinette seats and cabin sole.
Moving aft is the traditional pilot berth in the passageway to the aft cabin.
The owner's cabin aft features a true island berth, creating a comfortable and private retreat making excellent use of space and light. A vanity/desk, hanging locker, and head with separate shower offer everything needed for the live aboard cruiser.
