The 1985 Gulfstar 49 Motor Yacht is described by manufacturers and reviewers as an exceptional liveaboard and/or long-range cruiser, representing the brand’s “Golden Era” of construction. While it has the profile of a traditional motor yacht, its semi-displacement hull with a deep keel delivers the stable, efficient performance of a classic trawler.
Lady Tano is a one of a kind Gulfstar 49 motor yacht previously owned by the designer, Mr. Lazzara. She is custom built with two staterooms, two heads, a good sized office with settee adjacent to the master suite, and the only Gulfstar 49 with full walkaround deck. (See photos in Gallery.) There is a full galley to port with full size refrigerator, large stainless steel sink, disposal, dishwasher, four burner stove and large microwave oven. The spacious dining area to starboard is directly across from the galley. Powered with twin CAT 375hp engines Lady Tano will cruise at 9 knots at 1,500 RPM’s and has a maximum speed of 18 knots. From the salon, take four steps up to the fully enclosed bridge with new Isinglass. The helm offers Raymarine and Garmin electronics with radar, auto pilot, GPS, depth sounder, speedometer, VHF, hailer, trim tabs, and compass for safe travels. Lady Tano is in excellent overall condition and ready to cruise the Florida Keys, The Bahamas, or wherever your dreams want to take you. Key points include:
