Description

New to market, WHITE CAP is the Downeast style cruiser you have been seeking. She is the perfect blend of elegance, seaworthiness, and comfort. Her design and ruggedness resemble a Maine lobster boat, while the amenities aboard resemble those of a luxury yacht. If the waters get choppy, stay dry inside her cored fiberglass hull and wood interior.
Many sailboat owners have switched to downeast style cruisers for ease and simplicity of traveling on the water. The owners of WHITE CAP are no different. They are seasoned boaters who pay attention to every detail. No expense has been spared to keep WHITE CAP clean and well maintained. Most recently, the 1200 hour full engine service was completed in June 2022. One coat of Pettit Odyssey 60 ablative paint was applied to the bottom; Prop Speed was applied to the underwater metal and engine intake areas; the boat was washed, waxed, compounded, and buffed; the generator inlet hose was replaced; and glass was replaced in the two cabin top 10 inch hatches in September 2022.

Manufacturer Description
From spoon bow to gently sloped transom, the design elements of the Back Cove 29 speak to her Maine lobster boat heritage. Yet below the surface is a modern deep-vee hull just waiting for her owner to push the throttle forward and to jump up onto plane. With ample room in her cockpit and comfortable amenities below, she is a yacht that will give her owners years of pleasure and immense pride of ownership, at a cost which is considerable lower than for custom boats of this type. Launched at the Newport International Boat Show in the fall of 2003, Back Cove 29s have received critical acclaim from both the yachting press and discriminating owners.
