Description

The Grand Banks 42 Classic is arguably the world’s most iconic coastal cruising yacht. The legendary tri-cabin cruiser was originally launched in wood in the 1960’s. Over 1550 GB42’s of various configurations were built before the model was retired. This GB 42 Classic has been lovingly maintained and refit with most significant systems replaced including new fuel tanks, Lugger engines and Twin Disc transmissions. After some twenty years of cruising the Bahamas, this owner knows what he is talking about when he says “INDEPENDENCE is ready to cruise to the Bahamas tomorrow, she needs nothing.”
