Description

I guess we’d have to call this an offshore cruiser. Current Owner purchased her in 2016 in Langkawi, Maylasia. He installed a new engine, then took her for a trial run doing a clockwise loop of the South Pacific.

Back in Maylasia, he took a deep breath, then headed out again, sailing by South Africa on his way to the Caribbean, eventually arriving in Fort Lauderdale. He thinks he’s got sailing out of his system momentarily and desires a quick sale before he changes his mind. If you are looking for a well equipped , ready to go, blue water cruiser for not a lot of money, here you go. Time to stop dreaming and get the lead out.

Note: photos were taken shortly after arrival and do not show the clean interior of a harbor queen. We expect a more orderly “look” as they get settled down. It’s a long way from Maylasia.

However, there are no untoward fragrances. She presents rather clean, all things considered.

Vessel Walkthrough

From the comfortable cockpit, you clear the companionway and find yourself down below. At the base of the ladder, there is a proper offshore galley to port and a nav station to starboard. A hallway aft takes you past the engine room to the aft cabin with a large berth and private head and shower. Going forward into the main salon, there is an L-Shaped settee and table to port and a settee to starboard. Forward of the main salon is the guest cabin with head and shower.

The furniture is varnished Teak, with a Teak and Holly sole. Considering her age, most surfaces look very good.

Main Salon:

Still a beautiful interior, satin varnished Teak throughout. Teak and Holly soles which are secured for extreme conditions. The layout provides two private staterooms, one forward and one aft, each with their own head and shower. All upholstery is extra thick for comfort and is covered with commercial grade ultra suede on both sides. The galley has been improved over time and is very well arranged now. There are appropriately placed portholes, hatches and lighting in all areas. Main salon has an L-Shaped settee to port with a Teak table and a straight settee to starboard. At present it is adorned with the hanging nets so useful when offshore.

Galley:

Excellent lighting and a fan taking advantage of galley top hatch and portholes, make cooking in this galley a delight. A custom spice rack and china storage area along with the crystal wine glass cabinet, are just a few of the special touches in the galley. There is a huge storage cabinet deep under the food storage locker for infrequently needed items. The refrigerator is easily accessed from the top with multiple custom stainless steel trays in 3 layers and through a separate access door for access to the very bottom of the refrigerator. The size is a large 8.5 cubic feet. Another 4.5 cubic ft freezer is located by the hallway.

Broker's Comments

ALWAYS SATURDAY has seen some miles and still has a lot more left in her. Previous Owner was from New England and made it to Maylasia where he transferred ownership to “Rex”. Rex did a loop of the Pacific, back to Maylasia then from Maylasia to Florida via South Africa. ALWAYS SATURDAY has a reputation for being always moving. We’re looking for that serious cruiser to continue her tradition. If you’re up to it give me a call.
