Accommodations

Areion has a beautiful teak interior with solid teak staving (vs teak veneered plywood) throughout. The accommodations are comfortable and plush with exquisite joinery.

Layout from forward to aft

Owner cabin forward with a double berth, locker with four shelves, hanging locker, five lockers above the berth, three bookshelves, and voluminous bulk storage under the berth. Light and ventilation from ports, overhead hatches, cabin fan, overhead lights, and reading lights.

Next aft to port is a large head with marble countertop on vanity with lockers under,  separate medicine/toiletry cabinet, and toilet.  There is a stall shower with a teak seat. 

The mast is concealed in a locker.

The main saloon features a U-shaped settee to port. In the middle of the U is a dining table that can convert from a cocktail to a dining table for up to six.  The table and settee can convert to a double berth. To starboard is a straight settee that pulls out and can accommodate a 7' crew member. There is storage behind the seatbacks, side cabinets, and bookshelves. Under the settee just forward and under part of the galley on the centerline is the engine compartment.

Next aft to starboard is the forward-facing navigation station with a chart table and seat with storage under and a cabin fan. 

To port is the U-shaped galley in front of the galley. The galleys are well known for their expansive countertops and the large amounts of storage 

Companionway aft on centerline with battery storage under the ladder and with a door to lead to the compartment under the cockpit and steering gear. 

Aft to starboard is the guest stateroom with a double berth. There is a large locker with three shelves and a hanging wet locker. There is a shelf above the berth outboard and a small bookshelf aft.  There are overhead and reading lights and a fan.
