Designed by Sparkman and Stephens, built by Concordia Custom Yachts, Cavu features in mast furling with a cutter rig. This design allows for a great center cockpit and a generous owners stateroom aft with ensuite head and shower along with two further cabins forward.

The quality of the teak interior joinery is excellent and has been well maintained over the years .

Over the years CAVU has been upgraded including solar, anchor windlass, electronics, new copper bottom paint 2023, new sails in 2019.

Interior

Cavu's interiorconsists of a V berth forward, a second cabin just aft of the V berth and a master stateroom aft. The main salon, galley and navigation station are amidships.

Joinery work is all teak with a teak and Holly cabin sould with a varnished satin finish. The over head is white vinyl with teak trim boasting 7'2" of headroom in the salon and main cabins. Six opening boamr ports along with nine Lewmar overhead hatches, along with dorade venys and hella fans CAVU has ample air circulation.The entire vessel is also air conditioned.


Guest Staterooms Forward

Forward of the main salon are two guest staterooms, the V berth is furtherst forward with a permanent Single berth to port and a swing up single to starboard, there is also a filler to convert these to a large single V berth.This cabin features a large overhead opening hatch.

Aft from this cabin is a full with head,To Port are the shower and vacuflush head, vanity is to starboard, This is a very large space which features private access to both forward cabins, Headroom in this head is 7'.

Aft of this head is the second guest cabin with large double berth to port with a couch to starboard with ample lockers, drawers and a hanging closet Headroom in this cabin is 7'2". 


Main Salon

The main salon features a U shaped dinette teak table. Cream colored cushion covers brighten the salon, opposite to starboard is a settee that converts to a berth, Outboard are three large lockers. Immediately aft of the salon is the navigation ststionwhich uses the aft end of the salon couch as its seating.There is a hidden tv in a curved locker. Two large port lights provide ample natural lighting, along with overhead oopening hatches which allow plenty of ventilation. This salon is also  air conditioned with a headroom of 7'2"


Galley

The galley is on the starboard side of the salon, featurs a propane stove and oven, outboard are the refridgerator and freezer and a galley sink on the inboard side.Engine access is also found in this area along with access to the engine compartment under the main companionway ladder.

The full width owners stateroom aft features a large centre line bed with a couch to port and bookshelves on both port and starboard sides , ample drawers and cupboards for storage, an ensuite head is accessible from this stateroom.

Various opening ports allow for ventilation along with an overhead hatch. This cabin is also air conditioned. The headroom in this cabin is also 7'2"
