Introduction

The Victory 35 is a cruising catamaran, designed to be fast, safe, comfortable, and fun to sail. Her designer is a cruising sailor and every detail of her lines, accommodations, deck layout and sail plan arises from years of sailing and cruising on catamarans.
The huge cockpit has an table that easily seats five and a helms seat wide enough for two to sit together comfortably. The salon is open and airy, and a great place to relax or entertain.  There's a private office for tending to the details of daily living. A solid foredeck allows safe and secure handling of ground tackle and foresails. The Victory 35 is simple and fun to sail.


Accommodations

The Victory 35 was designed with liveaboard comtort in mind. A bright and airy main salon
is luxurious with its hand-cratted joinery and louvered doors. There is 6' 4' headroom
throughout, and continuous, bronze-tinted windows offer 180-degree panoramic views.
The spacious interior features a large U-shaped galley with double sink, Norcold 12VDC / 110VAC refrigerator/freezer and two-burner stove. Forward are a settee, table and a comfortable chair that accommodates seven.  
The "galley-up' layout in Victory places the galley on the same level as the main salon: no more is the cook removed from the action. To port, the large navigation station includes chart table.  
Within the hulls are three roomy cabins with two queen-size aft berths and a double
berth forward. Berths are oriented fore and aft, providing much greater comfort in a 
rolling sea than berths laid out athwartships.
The starboard hull features ample hanging lockers and a head (currently removed but plumbing still in place) with vanity and shower.
The separate guest cabin to port includes a double berth, closet, and full head and shower.
Seven opening deck hatches plus ten opening ports provide light and air below.

Standard power on the Victory 35 is a reliable, quiet, 38 hp Yanmar freshwater-cooled
diesel mounted amidships under the cockpit away from the living quarters. The drive
shatt extends vertically into the water.  No stuffing box or shaft seal is required. The shaft is
steerable which along with her twin rudders makes the boat highly maneuverable in tight spaces. Fuel consumption is less than a half gallonper hour at 6 knots. The removable  cockpit sole provides easy, 360-degree access to the engine compartment.


Safety

A catamaran is inherentlv a verv stable boat. The Victory 35 has built-in buoyancy and
watertight compartments, making her unsinkable. Double lifelines and wide side decks make her decks secure in rough weather, and her shoal draft lets her skim over thin water. The solid foredeck provides a stable, solid working platform - and also adds tremendous strength to her construction. Her jib, of course, has roller furling so there s no need to go forward for sail changes. The  Victory 35 is a strong, safe,easy-to-sall yacht, ideal tor sailors of every age and experience.


Hull Design and Performance

Victory 35's asymmetric, stepped hulls and high bridge deck clearance eliminate wave
slamming and noise. Large aerodynamic rudders promote directional stability, keeping
her on course while driving through seas. She has built-in chain and sail lockers, a modern
anchoring system including bow rollers and chain locker, and built-in transom steps. Her
16-foot beam allows her unrestricted access to marina berths
Victory's sailing abilities are no accident: her unique hull shape creates a fine water-
line entrance, enabling her to point 38 degrees apparent. She'Il sail half of wind
speed up to 15 knots, and downwind speeds in excess of 10 knots are commonplace
Besides great speed, her easy tacking, 5 degree heeling, and gentle sea-going motion
make her a total pleasure to sall.


Exterior Features and Construction

The Victory 35 Catamaran was buit in Clearwater. Florida. She was designed by naval architect Bill Hepburn of Tradewinds Yacht Design to merge comtort
and safetv with catamaran performance.
State-of-the-art foam core. biaxial glass fabrics and vinvlester, vacuum-bagged resins
give excellent strength-to-weight rations. Superior fit and finish result in a yacht that
will look beautiful and hold its value tor a very long time.
