Description
Introduced in 1994, this is one of the boats that essentially defined the down east express cruiser category which has become wildly popular.Designed by C. Raymond Hunt Associates these are remarkably good sea boats and afford comfortable accommodations for 2 to 4 in a single stateroom layout.
The Eastbay 38 offers accommodations for up to four in a single stateroom layout with V-berth forward cabin and convertible settee. The cabin offers very good natural light and ventilation with three hatches with screens and six ports with screens. This supplemented with reverse cycle air conditioning/heat.
The settee is located in the starboard side of the Lower Salon area opposite the galley. The teak dining/coffee table also lowers to convert the settee to a double berth. A louvered door hanging locker is just forward with TV above. Additional storage is outboard in lockers and a book case.
The galley is to port featuring a large single basin sink, Formica counter tops and excellent storage in several lockers and drawers. Outboard is a propane Stove, while aft and below counter height is a front loading refrigerator.
