HOOK 

 Walking aboard this spectacular OCEAN 48’ EXPRESS , one is immediately impressed by the very large working cockpit.  She has new custom soft foam decking is not only extremely striking  (MarineMatt) which provides a great surface for working the cockpit. The custom cockpit sun shade protects not only anglers and spectators but also a 35 gallon live bait well, slush ice machine, 2 jumbo in deck fish boxes, bait prep center with sink, large tackle storage compartment, equipment /gear storage garage, and bait freezer.  Her RUPP outriggers were serviced and received new backing plates in the 2023 refit.  She sports in addition to her rocket launcher a set of port and starboard electric Reel outlets.  A truly custom feature of HOOK is her stainless steel swim platform. Very handy thing as there is  custom storge area below deck for 4 dive bottles plus assorted other gear.

Leaving the cockpit and heading up 3 steps  one finds the solid frame custom French door leading onto the fully air conditioned bridge deck (2023). 

The bridge deck has total climate control, full isinglass glass enclosure, new soft foam decking, newly upholstered custom seating, custom sun shades for the hatches and the aft door, dual helm seats and additional rod storage inside the 12' settee which will hold up to 10 rods and reels.

Located on the dash one finds full electronics, engine and boat systems monitoring at one's finger tips. Thoughtful placement of USB ports and electrical outlets are located adjacent to the helm.

Proceeding forward and down 4 steps one enters into the spacious main saloon area. The entire interior of HOOK has had a phenomenal upgrade including decking, wall coverings and over head. To port there is a ped new custom sofa with storage and is upholstered in very high end tasteful fabrics.

To starboard HOOK'S electrical panels are easy to access.  No climbing around and searching for the panel if ever needed in the middle of the night.  The panel does have digital voltage and amperage gauges.  Forward of  the electrical panels and storage one finds a new custom lounge chair with matching ottoman again covered in extremely high end durable fabric.

Across from the lounge chair is a wall mounted flat screen TV as well as a cabinet in which one finds a BENDIX washer/dryer that has not been proven and it should not be assumed to be working. 

 All overhead LED lights have been upgraded as well as custom black out deck hatch covers for this area.

Proceeding forward and down  3 steps one is in the midlevel galley which is well lad out and will make any sea going chef a happy camper.

• A new pull out galley sink faucet with pull out hose was installed in (2023). At the time all fresh water lines were inspected.

• A glass top cook top combined with more than adequate refrigeration in both U LINE drawer style and stand up refrigeration  will allow your chef to create gourmet meals.
• U LINE Refrigerator drawers and a large below counter fridge will provide ample storage for the important items like beer and food.
  

 Proceeding in a forward direct one finds the owners stateroom and the head compartment. The deck hatches in these two areas have also received new custom black out hatch covers,

  The Master Stateroom aboard HOOK features a full-sized berth with a new memory foam (2023) with under the berth large storage drawers.  Two decent sized hanging lockers with lighting are located to port and starboard. There is an overhead deck hatch that provides nice ambient lights.
• Adjacent to the master stateroom and easily accessed from main saloon is a very comfortable full head with a separate enclosed shower stall.
• Corian counter top with storage located below. 
• A new faucet for the sink was replaced (2023) and a new custom back splash was also added.
• The DOMETIC VACU FLUSH  head with macerator has been recently serviced.
• The shower sump was cleaned and serviced.

Heading back up the stairs and across the main saloon one steps down into the aft stateroom.  This stateroom is one of the best designed aft staterooms on a sport fish yacht of this size.
