Description

2002 Hunter 460

Two staterooms, two heads and office layout.

Super low engine and generator hours. Updated, outfitted, and ready to go!

Hunter did great things with the layout on the 460. It is very bright and airy as it is warm and inviting with 8’6″ of headroom throughout the vessel. Versatility best describes the Hunter 460. Whether you want to cross oceans or bays, bang around the buoys or just live aboard, the Hunter 460 has the capability to do it all. The easy driven hull is powered by an innovative B & R rig (no backstay) with all lines lead aft for ease of handling. A stainless steel arch is multi-purpose and holds lights, stereo speakers and the traveler rests on top keeping it out of the way. The bimini and dodger protect the large cockpit from sunshine and weather. Wide side decks and the walk through aft transom make maneuverability easy and safe.

With nine overhead hatches,11 opening ports, two fixed ports and two deck skylights you will not find a vessel with more abundant ventilation and light pouring in. Beautiful leather interior cushions. The available storage on this boat is unbelievable. You can provide a comfortable live-aboard or a long term island cruiser. You’re in the islands but need to do a load of laundry? There’s even a factory installed Comb-O-Matic 2000 washer and dryer. The completely private owner’s stateroom is forward with a queen island berth. Huge hanging lockers and port and starboard built in chest of drawers for all your cruising attire. The owner’s stateroom has a separate head and vanity to port and a separate shower stall to starboard. Aft of the owner’s stateroom is the huge main salon with two leather covered individual arm chains to stbd. There’s a very spacious dinette and “U” shaped leather covered settee to port. The galley is to port and aft of the main salon. A proper forward facing nav center is aft in the main salon and to stbd. Just aft of the nav is the guest head with separate shower stall. The guest stateroom is starboard and aft with a queen berth and plenty of storage

Below, the dinette area is large enough to handle the crew, but intimate enough for two. Storage is plentiful as is the natural light and ventilation. Hand-rubbed teak and exquisite fabrics are evident and make the interior feel like a much larger and more expensive sailing yacht. An innovative forward head arrangement splits the shower and head so both can be used at the same time.

The forward master stateroom rivals most yachts twice her size. Twin hanging lockers and lots of drawers make staying aboard easy and a great night’s sleep is guaranteed by the inner spiring mattress.

An enormous dual opening refrigerator and freezer are central to the U-Shaped galley. A Force 10 propane stove and oven plus a microwave oven will make dinners a joy to prepare while the island sink will have cleanup covered. Storage for everything is close at hand, including the recessed trash receptacle.

Entertaining is gracious with the open salon which incorporates a television and entertainment system. Twin comfortable seats and a convertible cocktail table are located just forward of the extensive navigation station.

This Hunter 460 offers the two stateroom and two head layout with the third “stateroom” built into a pantry, office and laundry center.
