The ONLY Wood 33 Willis Boat Works ever made- hand built by Mr. Alex Willis using his famous “plank over frame” methodology. This boat was a custom project of Mr. Alex Willis and his son, AJ Willis, third and fourth generation boat builders from Harkers Island, NC. It is one of the last boats Alex Willis ever built, taking him a few years to complete.
Willis Boat Works Inc. was founded in 1918 out of Harkers Island NC and is one of the most renowned Custom Carolina boat builders in the industry. They are the original founders of the Carolina Flare and are responsible for the evolution of Custom Carolina Boat Building in the 20th Century.
This Custom Willis Center Console is one of the newest and rarest Willis boats in the world. A 33 foot center console displaying the ORIGINAL Carolina Flare, this elegant wooden Willis hull is truly a one of one.
